The night is getting dark. Yet the street lights are getting lighter. Cold wind starts to blow my hair. I tie up my shoes and embark the journey, because I am here for a jog. I prefer a comfortable jog under the starry night in TungHai University.
Unfortunately, the sky is covered with clouds, and the ground is a little bit wet. No star can be seen, no fresh air can be breath. All I see is the grey sky, and all I breathe is the moldy air. I trail down the track, alone. No body is there, and no voice can be heard. Everything becomes silent. The track seems to say something, but it keeps quiet still. My heartbeats and foot steps whisper beside my ears. The wind fall asleep, and the tip of the clock stops.
Nothing accompanied me except your shadow. I run to every where to look for you, but in vain. All I can find is the endless darkness in front of me. I can smell you, hear you, and see you, but I just can’t feel you. Where are you? The time’s scythe splices my memory into pieces, and there is no way to stop it. I am out of breath chasing and calling your name. Your image is too huge, but I just can’t feel you. After I run for a long time, I find myself in front of a big forest. It is the forest that you say goodbye to me. Darkness and silence surround me, and I get drowned in your image. My hope is fading, but I will wait for you till the time’s scythe takes away my life.
The journey is over after I cross the finish line. I pick up my jacket and leave for home. As I look up in the sky, I see there is a star shining brightly in the sky. The clouds smile so happily that I know I will have a good dream tonight.
